Something light and juicy straight out of the Strathbogie ranges that won't disappoint! The team at Fowles have taken on board feedback from cellar door visitors and social media followers alike to come up with this crowd pleaser.
Technically a dry rose based on sugar content, the juicy red fruit content begs to differ. Strawberries and cream on the nose, the palate is juicy young red fruit. Light and fresh with a touch of sweetness on the finish. Great value at under $15!

From the Winery
The Shiraz that was used for this wine was selected from a stunning vineyard called Booroola in the Strathbogie Ranges. The fruit for this wine was crushed, with the juice remaining in contact with the skins for six hours prior to pressing.
This wine was fermented at around 13˚C and in stainless steel tanks to preserve primary fruit flavours. We used a yeast strain called EC118 because it is reasonably neutral and exercises little influence over the fruit, allowing the natural flavour characteristics of the fruit to express themselves.
