93 points of absolute loving credit for this superb rich and silky, dark cherry, white pepper, cooler climate Shiraz from the superb 2013 vintage in the central highlands of NSW. A stunning example of juicy dark black fruits with bold layered tannins that stay in the mouth and give oodles of pleasure all meal long. This impressive wine follows the 2010 vintage that took you all by storm. Limited amounts only - first in, best fills the cellar. Do yourself a favour; pop this little beauty into a decanter for a few hours. Whilst it's slowly opening up, marinate some pork chops in a sticky plum sauce, pop them into the oven 'til they get gooey and juicy. Pour yourself a big glass of this delicious Shiraz and enjoy the simplicity of life. It’s filled out with blackcurrant and spice and some chocolate notes before a long and lingering palate. Aromas of plums, red cherries, pepper spice and vanilla rise from the glass, whilst the palate is medium-bodied and highly spicy, with a lush dark fruit centre, licks of deli-meats, a solid line of fine tannins and a tight, spicy finish. Good food, good wine and good company - even if it's merely your own company, all the better, more wine for you!
