Good things are named Jimmy... Jim Morrison, Jimmy Dean and not to mention our very own Jimmy Barnes, I even have a brother-in-law named Jim, and he's a pretty good bloke too.
This Victorian Shiraz is another ripping example of a stand-up Jimmy! Made from 100% Shiraz, this is the product of classic cool climate Victoria, with grapes coming in late in the season at full ripeness.
The nose is a mixture of spicy red fruits, blueberries and blackberries with a hint of oak. Similar to past Jimmy Shiraz vintages, it is dominated by ripe plums, blueberries and spicy pepper on the palate. Full bodied but soft, this Shiraz can easily be enjoyed now. An excellent pairing with Mum's Sunday roast.
