The last vintage of this irrepressibly great Shiraz flew out the door and this vintage will quite simply do likewise. This wine is deep crimson in colour with hints of youthful purple at the rim. On the nose, intense lifted aromas of mulberry and blackberry play with notes of pepper and oak spice. The palate is full bodied with complex forest fruits, spice and velvety tannins leading to a elegant and long finish.
Fowles wines are producing consistently highly regarded wines that will wow your cellar and really excite you about this regions quality.

Past Vintages
2012: 95 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "A more than worthy successor to the '10, here with even greater intensity and length to the vibrant mix of red fruits, spice and fine, savoury tannins of the medium-bodied palate. It will relish a few more years in the bottle, but hold its form for years thereafter."
93 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front "The wine itself is a flagbearer for Strathbogie Ranges shiraz. It’s peppery, blackberried, juicy with black cherry flavour and ever-so-more-ish. Smoky oak makes a positive appearance but it’s that clear crack of black pepper that sets both its style and its class. Top release."
