Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz is a beautifully made Shiraz that displays the owners son on the front of the bottle, a real family affair. This wine is deep crimson in colour with hints of blueberries, ripe sweet fruits and undertones of chocolate biscuits. On the palate it is a smooth seductive in texture and has bursting flavours of fresh fruit perfectly balanced with coffee and warm spice. Perfect with game meats, or to be enjoyed by itself as a great winter warmer!

Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz has an incredibly lifted nose. Aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and mocha greet you, followed by rich black liquorice and vanilla pod notes. The careful use of American oak hums seamlessly in the background and finishes with a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. The Fruit WeightTM and intensity of the Blue Eyed Boy never ceases to amaze us.
The grapes were grown on the Gateway, Coppermine Road, Long Gully Road & Mollydooker Home Block in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 53% new and 47% one year old. 100% American oak.
