The 2008 Long Paddock Shiraz is crimson red in colour, the wine shows a floral lift of purple flowers combined with the juicy sweetness of dark plums. A medium bodied wine showing freshness, a juicy mid palate and finishing with soft tannins. Delicious current drinking but will also benefit from 3 to 5 years in the cellar.
Premium fruit from family owned vineyards in the cool climate King Valley region in North East Victoria is selected for the wines of Redbank. Small parcels of Shiraz from Heathcote are used to produce the premium 'The Anvil'.
