Best of both worlds, this wonderful blend of Shiraz and Grenache is both complex and mouthwatering. Flavours of plum, nutmeg and cloves. Accompanies perfectly with rich red meats, traditional pasta dishes and mature aged cheese.
Reviews
2015 Vintage: 95 Points, Ned Goodwin - The Wine Companion "Indelibly of place, the wine's aroma sings strongly of a Maritime salinity, embedded in which is iron, blue and black fruits, raw meat and a hint of mace. The palate, while concentrated, plays a savoury chord of spiky whole-cluster notes, liquorice-soaked tannins and a veil of lively acidity."
From The Winery
The Vale is, without a doubt, the most restrained of the wines that we produced. This wine will only get better over time. This mouthwatering, sapid blend of Shiraz and Grenache is complex and integrated, with aromas of plum, nutmeg, cloves and musk.
