Tempranillo is probably about as good as new world wines get, and this little gem is an outstanding example.
The colour is plummy and deep and the nose has everything you want from a big red- spiced berries, remnants of oak and hints of aniseed. Rich plum is contrasted by plush, soft tannins to leave for a fine chalky finish on the palate. This wine has enough acidity to see it through another few years, but is drinking remarkably now. So why wait?!
From the winemaker: This wine has red berry and plum fruit and is elegant with a savoury palate and fine chalky tannins on the finish. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 7 years.
