When I read the words biodynamic, organic, vegan, I’d be inclined to assume its something I’m not going to like that much. But I’m looking at wine, so what’s not to like! Hailing from the higher altitudes near Valencia this Tempranillo ticks all the boxes. Bright red with a bit of fruit and earth on the nose, the palate has hints of candied red fruit and maraschino cherries, the sweetness of which is evened out with some well integrated acids and tannin. This is the perfect wine for an inexpensive night either at home or out on the town.
From the Winery
The Perez-Pardo family comes from the Caroig Massif, a rugged, very mountainous area with deep ravines, broad valleys- and a very long tradition of winemaking. It is located in the southwest of the province of Valencia, in the river Clariano district, which comes under the “Valencia” Designation of Origin. The Bodega was founded in 1999. Its motivation was that of building up a winery entirely based on our own vineyards, so as to produce wines by our own extensive work, beginning with our vines and ending up with the satisfaction of the customers who taste our wines.
