Aromas of apple, pear and a hint of fresh flowers are on display. The palate offers sweetness but starts and finishes with tart dryness. The Pizzini family have been crafting Italian varietal wines in the King Valley since the 1970s, and this is a sure favourite.
Award and Accolades
2014 Vintage: Tyson Stelzer, Australian Wine Companion "A neutral prosecco of simple apple and pear flavour and subtle savoury character from 4 months on lees. 14g/l dosage is well balanced with King Valley acidity. It finishes clean, short and simple."
From the Winery
Initial aromas include yeasty and melon notes, as the wine opens up in the glass the nose has smacks of citrus blossom, fresh lime, Wisteria flower, Nashi pear and green apples. Refreshingly fizzy with gentle, lemony acidity. The wine has a lovely length and balance.
