Good things come to those who wait! With 10+ years in bottle, the time has come to unleash this delightful Chardonnay from Katnook Estate in Coonawarra.
Toasty notes and generous flavours of melon and stonefruit have integrated beautifully with gentle oak adding depth and structure. Whilst in it's youth this wine demonstrated citrus zestiness and light stonefruit, it has now mellowed and offers a more mouth-filling, textural palate that precedes a long, clean finish.
This will delight fans of a fuller-bodied Chardonnay. What's more, the 375ml half bottle size is perfect for ensuring that very little (if any!) escapes the chance to be enjoyed.
