Clean light gold in colour, the bouquet is fresh and bright. This offers aromas of lemon citrus, some floral notes, stony minerality and subtle cashew nuances. Clean and focused through the palate with good textural depth, there's sufficient acidity to continue developing in-bottle for the next 2-3 years.
Awards and Accolades
2014 Vintage: 90 Points - International Wine Report "A pretty Chablis, delivering aromas of lemon, white floral and wet stones. On the palate this is clean and well-balanced with a nice touch of acidity heading into the finish, which is marked by citrus and a fresh mineral character. This should continue to drink well over the next few years."
From the Winery
Chablis is in the northern part of Burgundy, half way between Dijon and Paris. The continental climate (very cold in winter and hot in the summer with frosts in spring) and the marly limestone soils combine to mould the unique character of Chablis wines. About 3,500 hectares are planted (including 856 ha of Premiers and Grands crus) with 100% Chardonnay grapes. Chablis premiers crus are produced on 40 different lieux-dits".
This wine is fermented in vats and then aged in the Louis Jadot cellars between 9-12 months before bottling.
Vintage notes: A very small harvest. Good quality.
