Medium straw coloured with a green hue, this Chardonnay has delicate, restrained savoury aromas. The plush palate offers a juicy melon and peach fruit core with excellent oak in support and mouth-watering length. Persistent and savoury with slightly honeyed finish.

Coonawarra has produced some pretty nice chardys over the years. This one from Millicent Road is a real peaches and cream number, that also shows hints of yellow citrus and toastiness. The palate is lighter-bodied, smooth and velvety textured, with those peachy flavours punching through, some bright citrusy acidity, and a soft, silky finish. Excellent with poultry dishes.
