A captivating nose of cumquat and marmalade with a hint of almond and vanillin oak. Layers of intense botrytis fruit including citrus, marmalade, a touch of butterscotch in harmony with attractive vanillin oak and a deftly balanced finish of sweetness and acidity.
Vineyards that have regularly provided fruit for Noble One over the years were once again selected for the vintage. These vineyards consistently produce ideal botrytised Semillon fruit with sweetness, lusciousness and intense botrytis flavours, which are synonymous with this wine. Each vineyard is harvested separately then fermented and matured individually. Each vineyard has characteristics that enhance the complexity seen in this wine when blended together. Matured in 29% new French oak barriques, 64% one and two year old barriques with 7% left unoaked to add some freshness to the final blend.
