You'll struggle to track down many more producers of Gewurztraminer in Margaret River, but that isn't necessary when the quality of this wine is so high!
Enticing soft aromas of lychee, pineapple and rosewood, the palate is textured with good body and light savoury notes, lots of things have been done right.
It's worth noting that this is a wine in very short supply, order now to ensure you don't miss out!
95 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "Gleaming straw-green; made from 35+yo vines, and takes Margaret River by the hand to head off to Alsace; the way the flavour builds progressively through to the finish is wholly impressive, as is the spicy lychee varietal expression."
93 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front "There’s no mistaking the grape variety, assuming of course you’re familiar with it. Spice, ginger, rosewater, musk, lychee and fresh pineapple, old savory wood. Hits the palate square on – not too fat, not too skinny – with a light glycerol texture, subtle powdery texture, acidity just to so, great delivery of flavour and layers of spice and varietal fruit. Sports a pretty long finish. Textbook."
