Pale straw yellow with light green hues, the nose delights with gentle alpine floral notes, aromatic pear and honeysuckle. The palate continues the good work, it's succulent and rounded with flavours of luscious pear, apple and mango. The texture is rich with an interesting off-dry mouthfeel, before finishing clean and dry.
Awards and Accolades
2014 Vintage: 90 Points - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front "Pale orange tinge in the golden colour. Honeysuckle and melon notes – very pretty sweet-fruited perfume. Sweet to taste too, but cut with cool, almost herbal acidity that drags flavour out to a lightly bitter finish. Really pleasing, leaner yet sweeter style."

The grapes are picked from vineyards in the Hawke’s Bay high country of New Zealand. The soils are ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams. A warm summer provided stunning flavours and structure. This wine is delicious on its own, or with semi-hard cheeses, chicken dishes and spicy Thai numbers
