A spicy mouthful of honeyed pear that rolls around the mouth. It curves as it moves with a warm silky texture. Some nut crusted fish topped with fragrant coriander with keep the oiliness in check and let this wine do its thing. Slippery rather than oily or greasy in the mouth. Has some palate weight but should fill out more over the next year. The acidity will hold it in good stead as it does. Fairly dry, briney finish. A solid take on the variety and style.
