Annie's Lane Riesling is water like in colour with lime hues. The nose offers strong aromas of citrus and ginger with subtle nuances of lemongrass and tale. The vibrant palate finishes with lemon pith, coriander seed and cloves. This wine is medium bodied, with pure Clare Valley Riesling characteristics; lemon, talc, spice and floral notes

2013 Vintage: 90 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "Bright, light straw-green; classic lime juice/floral/spice aromas lead into a generously built palate; will drink well in its youth, but won't suffer in bottle.
From the Winery
The grapes were crushed and drained during the cool of the night with the free-run juice retained. After a settling period of 4 to 5 days, these juices were racked . Following fermentation, all parcels were racked again and then evaluated for the final Annie’s Lane blend.
Annie’s Lane creates a range of reputable wines of regional and varietal expression sourced from some of the oldest vines in the Clare Valley. Annie's Lane winemaker, Alex MacKenzie, is passionate about exploring new varietals and blends crafted with minimal intervention, keeping the wine as natural as possible to maximise the fruit flavour and intensity. This simple, yet effective winemaking approach makes the most of the soil, the fruit, the vines, the climate, the region and nature.
