More than you bargained for! Already Mitchelton's most awarded wine since 1978, this vintage steps up the game. There is a talcy sherbet perfume on the first whiff of this, followed through with a deliciously alluring tart lime essence. The mouthfeel is tight and refined, the lime is more restrained than the smell would suggest and opens up to delicious grapefruit and a fantastic effervescent ting on the end note. A superb offering for the price!
Awards and Accolades
2013 Vintage: 94 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "This shares - indeed builds on - the promise of the '14, lime and apple anchored by a roll of steely acidity reaching down to the very roots of the wine. I fancy the chances of this wine over a long journey."
