The wine has lifted fresh and vibrant aromas. Lemon and lime citrus characters abound, followed by layers of subtle blossom and enticing floral nuances.
The wine displays great power and concentration of fruit flavour, giving the wine richness while texturally it is well balanced and elegantly structured with fresh acidity. The wine has a pleasing generosity yet still displays all the hallmarks of a great Clare Riesling; the citrus, the crisp acid freshness and length to the finish.

This release provides a good riesling hit without having the refinement to deserve high points. There’s a gentle coarseness to it. What it does have in spades though is flavour – lime, orange rind, green melon – and a sense of grip too. It drinks well without getting the heart racing.
