  Geoff Weaver Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Geoff Weaver Sauvignon Blanc.gif

A brilliant Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc from a winemaker described as 'a master of his art' by Halliday. The 2014 vintage experienced early fruit ripening and gradual flavour development over a generally mild summer.

Floral aromas mingle with delicate pear and gooseberry on the nose, giving way to a light, juicy and fresh palate. Relatively low sugar content keeps the finish zingy with length. Overall it is light and fragrant, with tight structure - begging to be enjoyed over the next 12-24 months.

"96 Points. Dry-grown 37yo vines give moderate yields at low pH levels; an aromatic, flowery bouquet leads into a crisp, juicy palate that continues to accelerate all the way through to the finish and aftertaste. Fastidious winemaking has thrown all the emphasis on varietal fruit. A master of his art." - James Halliday, The Wine Companion
