In the glass it's pale with flecks of green. Delicate gooseberry, herb and lime aromas are accompanied by flavours of white apple, tropical fruit and lemon zest on the palate. Fine mineral flavours provide a clean finish, maintaining a zesty backbone that's oh so familiar to Marlborough sauv. blanc fans.
From the Winery
Sourced from lower-yielding vineyards on the hillside slopes for greater intensity and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks with minimal oxygen interaction to maximise fruit expression. Following fermentation the wine is aged in tank on lees for four months with malolactic fermentation avoided.
