Summer's kryptonite! A fantastic, zesty Sauvignon Blanc from the Australian region that is giving Marlborough a run for its money. Packed full of all the tropical fruit flavours you've come to expect and love, this Summer special, from what is fast becoming a hallmark vintage, will have you looking to those 40 degree days as just another excuse to crack one open. Glorious stuff!
Appearance: Brilliant, pale green.
Aroma: Attractive and subtle aromas of passionfruit and snowpeas backed up by a little lemon grass, nettle and mineral.
Palate: Fresh, crisp and zesty in the mouth and finishes with a vibrant tropical / nettle flourish. Quite richly flavoured, but still has elegance, subtlety and finishes pleasantly dry.
Summary: Not the “in your face” style of Sauvignon Blanc, this wine has some restraint, subtlety and poise. Brilliant refreshing summer drink.
