Tropical fruits and serious Semillon blends are a match made in Heaven! The palate is crisp and delightfully fresh showing plenty of mid-palate weight. A beautiful finish rounds this off nicely. Did I mention it's below $8.00?
The Semillon component is now aging beautifully and a really serious part of the wine now, providing perfect balance and grace against the herbaceous, racy notes of the Sauvignon Blanc. The length really drives some serious appeal as a wine on many layers, especially for enjoying with food, as the overall dimension of this wine has gone to stage two and is a now a ripper.
I have to admit these guys are one of the all time pioneers of this blend and were instrumental for making this style synonymous with this region. It gets no better than this when you are seeking out vibrant, premium quality Semillon Sauvignon Blanc at an unbeatable price!
