This is the freshest, youngest wine in the Pieropan family range. An effervescent and expressive Soave, with classic white flower, almond blossom and a touch of citrus. Rounded, ripe fruit is perfectly balanced by a fresh, clean acidity. Long and fragrant, it has a note of fine, almond pastry on the finish.
Soave wines are light to medium bodied – so best to avoid very heavy, meaty dishes. They are light enough to enjoy on their own or with salty nibbles. At the table they work really well with fish, white meat or vegetable dishes that do not have too heavy a sauce. Some lovely pairings are with skate with black butter and capers, roast chicken, grilled trout or hake, or just with a simple quiche.
"A fresh and steely white with sliced apple, pear and lemon rind character. Medium to full body, bright acidity and a clean and fresh finish. One of my go-to whites from Italy. Drink or hold." 91 Points James Suckling
