Valley of the Giants Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Well this has indeed proven to be a popular drop amongst the staff and family. Cut lemongrass and crushed lime leaves provide lovely citrus zest on the nose, balanced by freshly peeled lychee aromas. Gooseberry fruit meets with lemon zest and grassy notes, while green melon nuances add depth of flavour and length on the palate. This will make a brilliant partner to a fresh seafood platter in the afternoon with the cricket on the radio and a couple of good mates.
THE WINERY: Valley of the Giants is an ancient forest in Western Australia, that is home to the enormous red tingle trees. The magic of this ancient forest comes alive at night as wildlife meander around the giant trees, some of which are up to 16 metres in circumference at the base. The Valley of the Giants wines are proudly Western Australian, celebrating the natural wonders and breathtaking natural beauty of the state.
