This could be the one with the lot! Beautiful in the bottle, it just gets better and better. A soft but true pink colour with a white mousse foams from the top to glass, gently providing a fine bead that heralds what is to become a fantastic taste experience. The aromas are a true cross of delicate and attractive strawberries with notes of cherries, and some pastry apple pie.
The mouth fill whooshes a big finely balanced length with a soft and slightly sweet finish; the red berry flavours roll into a mouth-filling wave that stay with you for ages and slowly melt away till the next sip.
Stunning, semi sweet/dry in finish and nothing if not elegant, sophisticated and a sparking summer inclusion that should be sitting in your cellar right now, so, do your self a favour and relax with some of this in the special cupboard and bring it out for real friends only!
STAFF TASTING: A pleasant sparkling red that will satisfy those who enjoy their bubbles candy scented; as raspberry, strawberry, cream and cinnamon prevail here. Tasters: BK, MM, TE.
