Pertaringa P Label Riesling 2009 |

Definitely one of the most engaging and multi-faceted Rieslings I have enjoyed for a long time. Put the kids out on the Trampoline, tuck into some antipasto and enjoy this wine with just a moments peace! Beautiful and alluring pale gold beckons from the bottle like Alladins Jewels. The nose is wonderful and a mixture of tropical notes with hints of some light austere background citrus limey and lemon touches. The first sip leads you to a very thought provoking intake to marvel at once on the length and combination of fleshy fruit and contrasting acid levels which compliment each other like Torvel and Dean! This wine shows the fantastic quality of the 2009 vintage.
Tasting Note; Grassy, herbaceous nose with plenty of citrus characters and excellent palate weight showcasing an array of tropical fruit, finishing off with crisp, clean acidity. This is a wine to be enjoyed while it is young; a perfect match for salads and delicately flavoured seafood dishes.
