This is from a multi award winning producer, and I mean serious award winning! This Shiraz is Heathcote perfection. Heathcote Shiraz is getting quite a cult following as the soils of the region impart some very special characters to the wines, especially Shiraz. Here’s a classic example of what we are talking about; it’s Shiraz imbued with earth and minerals. It has a captivating and attractive nose of blackberry and mocha with flavours of chocolate and licorice. We love this style of wine as it’s more on the savoury edge and it is enhanced with food, perhaps a leg of pork or some duck. Either way it will be delicious.
It's a special day when you find such a renowned wine from a celebrated region at this price. How you say? Well as they like to say, it's not what you know, its who you know and we have worked out a rare deal here for you to enjoy. My cellar is going to be a little bit fuller tonight with a few cases of this, it's going to age beautifully and be a favourite with guests no doubt.

Wine Selectors Magazine, ‘This is an unbelievable Shiraz, especially given its modest price. It has an alluring nose of blood plum, blackberry, white pepper and cedar – leading to a delicious core of black fruit with a plummy juiciness. Fully ripe, velvety tannins married with subtle oak give it an amazing harmony and length.’ Voted into the Top 50 wines from Australian producers in 2015.
