WOW! Here is a Coonawarra Cabernet and a perfect svelte statement of the blend to beat all blends! Perfect cellaring has delivered a rich blend of satisfying Coonawarra Cab and Merlot the kissing cousins from the region the combine to provide a wonderfully aged - and now seamlessly developed red wine.
A great Coonawarra blend exhibiting a complex palate, good tannin structure and a firm finish. The wine is well balanced with a deep rich colour and concentrated berry characters and flavours.
The wine has been matured in a mix of new (100%) French & American oak for 18 months, allowing vanillan and spicy oak flavours to develop with a splash of Merlot further softening the wine. The wine is an 80:20 blend and with careful cellaring will further develop
