Tisdall Henry's Crossing Cabernet Merlot 2009 |
| |
|
|
Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (40%), Shiraz (5%).
Tisdall “Henry’s Crossing” range is a tribute to Henry Hopwood, founder of Echuca in 1854 and his establishment of a punt (ferry) across the great Murray River at the point of where the town of Echuca now lies. Grapes have been sourced from Tisdall’s Rosbercon Vineyard, a single vineyard site that has some of the oldest plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon in the region.
This traditional blend of Cabernet & Merlot combines the best of both worlds - Lifted aromas and natural tannin structure from Cabernet, fruit weight and flesh from the Merlot. As a result, this wine is elegantly balanced and shows outstanding flavour length to make it the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
