Les Trois Burgundy Rouge 2015 It’s full of bright, cherried, exuberant fruit – upfront and delicious – and then churns with a serious turn to tannin through the back half. A smiling assassin of a wine. It’s perfumed and it’s quite gorgeous to drink. I enjoyed it throughly at the tasting and even more at home from a fresh bottle. Super clean, fresh and tasty. Wow, from the outstanding 2015 vintage, this is probably going to take the world by storm as a delightful expression of the terroir of burgundy in a blend of Pinot and Gamay to create a rich textural blend that punches with lifted notes of earthy forrest floors, barny soul and then knocks you out with a rock and roll slap of opulent flavour. I am not sure I can show you a better example of a Burgundian expression that is richly complex and still provides a supple, smooth and layered palate for endless fun and food matching! Enjoy..
LES TROIS The French Appellation system is driven by the concept of Terroir – that wine grown in a particular location has a distinct individual character, created by that region’s unique combination of the key factors “Les Trois” - geography, geology and climate. The Les Trois Burgundy Coteaux Bourguignonsis a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay displaying a lifted and complex nose and an richly flavoured, supply palate.
