Versatile, complex and refreshing. This rose works great alongside seafood, but the beautiful dry finish means this is perfect as an aperitif or as a standalone refreshment.
Awards and Accolades
2016 Vintage: 94 Points, Special Value Wine - James Halliday, Wine Companion "Estate-grown mourvedre, hand-picked, a short time on skins, fermented in used French oak. Pale salmon hue; it is every bit as complex and savoury as its vinification (and variety) would suggest. Dry and very spicy, but also fruity. Bargain++."
2016 Vintage: 92 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front "Yes. This is lovely. Savoury and sweet-fruited at once. Candied, almost. Earth, fennel seeds, woodsmoke and sweet cherry, almost into orange. Dry and textural through the finish. A crackle of spice. Lots of good things going on. Great to drink."
