The Reserve Phar Lap Shiraz is a benchmark Coonawarra Shiraz, dense crimson with deep purple hues at the rim provide an intoxicating start. Concentrated and powerful aromas of silky black cherries, dark brambly blackcurrants side with rich red berry fruit flavours with a hint of regional spicy pepper and are supported by well integrated elegant oak and persistent fine grained tannins. The finish is long and pronounced with classic balance and structure creating an elegant and balanced wine which will allow further development with more long term cellaring.
