Ripe, lifted fruit aromas of cherries and red berries get the senses racing before you dive in to the medium bodied wine. Plush and generous plum and berries are enhanced by smoky spice notes. Delicate tannins mean this isn't overbearing, and finishes clean and bright.
Completely free of preservatives, this is suitable for drinking within the next 12 months.
Awards and Accolades
93 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "Fruit expressive and delectably expressed, the wine shows rich aromas of black/blueberry, cocoa, roasted nuts and mixed spice on the nose. The palate is succulent and beautifully weighted, and displays excellent fruit purity as well as attractive savoury nuances, leading to an impressively long juicy finish. Made from organic grapes."
From the Winery
Sourced from established, low-yielding and 100% organically certified vineyards in McLaren Vale and Inland South Australia. Partially hand picked into small bins and primarily de-stemmed before a slow, cool fermentation in small open fermenters with hand plunging twice daily, no additions and ten percent whole bunch. The McLaren Vale component was matured in seasoned large format French oak whilst the inland component was matured in stainless steel. Blended and bottled without fining, just a loose filtration and the barest minimum of sulphur addition.
An outstanding vintage. Excellent, balanced and consistent conditions – warm but crucially not too warm, dry but not too dry, and finally cool Autumn nights that allowed for retention of natural acidity – have led to intensely flavoured and brilliantly balanced fruit with excellent freshness.
The See, Hear, Speak No Evil wines aim to establish a new benchmark for quality and consistency of Organic and Vegan friendly wines through a combination of boutique, small batching winemaking and industry leading, technical ability for preparation and bottling.
