Chardonnay should simply be this good and be this good all the time! Tasmania is at the for front of not only cool climate excellence in the chardonnay stakes, But, simply has the eye on producing quality.

2015 Vintage: 92 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The WIne Front "Great drinking. Straight up. Hits the deck with grapefruit, green apple, white pear whiffs and sips. Touch creamy in the palate but with a cool thrust of acidity that keeps the palate mouthwatering and fresh. Touch of flint in bouquet and palate too for interest. It leaps out of the glass and says ‘touch of class’ and ‘drink me’ at the same time. Yes thanks."

Beautiful cool climate Chardonnay in a soft easy drinking style. This wine displays the delightful fresh tropical flavours that the Chardonnay variety develops in our vineyard site. On first introduction to this wine you will find an intense aroma of pineapple, guava with a touch of apricot. Golden Chardonnay fruit from the Louis vineyard is cool fermented in tanks followed by extended lees contact prior to bottling. By not utilising the Burgundy technique of fermentation in oak casks this wine highlights the pure Chardonnay aromas and flavours of stone, citrus and melon fruits. The mouth-filling, smooth, fruit-salad flavours are harmoniously balanced by a refreshing crisp long finish.
