Yering Station is one of the Yarra Valley’s most famous wineries with a cellar door that dates back to 1853. The focus is on wines that thrive in the region such as Chardonnay. This wonderful Chardonnay is a good indicator of the quality that Yering winemaker Willy Lunn can achieve even at the bargain end of the spectrum. This wine shows wonderful cool climate characteristics, with immense structure and superb length. It will cellar well in the short tern but we can’t imagine how you could resist to drink it now.
From the Winery:
An early spring prevailed a slightly earlier harvest. Normal to warmer weather and a dry growing season gave the wines power and concentration. These years are the v8 turbo muscle cars that create excitement but require great respect.
