Yum, beautiful in the glass and sucks you in immediately. A medium light golden straw in colour, there are notes of yummy fleshy pear alongside almond, honeysuckle and herbs. The palate is light and clean with fresh fruit notes of apple and pear with a touch of stone fruit. The mouthfeel is textural with a lingering finish.
Perfect to enjoy now with increasing complexity over 3-4 years.

From the Winery
Azahara derives from the Spanish for ‘orange blossom’. Sourced from our family owned vineyards in Victoria, interspersed with citrus, mango and avocado groves.
Grown and harvested from vineyards which rest alongside our orange, citrus and mango groves at Red Cliffs, VIC.
Indigenous yeast was used to initiate fermentation in old French and American oak barrels for one month. The wine was then transferred to stainless steel tank for ageing on lees while a partial malolatic fermentation was conducted.
