100% Watervale riesling that doesn't put a foot wrong. The nose displays an unmistakable Clare riesling bouquet of lemon curd, florals with zesty lime and a touch of tangerine. The palate offers that slow-ripened, tight acidity the region does so well, as well as some crisp green apple notes at this stage of its development. This will cellar well over the next decade at least - the only problem is this is just screaming out to be enjoyed with some Thai spiced seafood right away!

Incongruously, it is a blend of three vineyards. The bouquet owes as much to minerally notes as to citrus fruit, and the palate duly brings structure and length for the lemon/lime flavours and firm finish."

From the Winery
An excellent vintage overall, despite a few early weather and seasonal challenges, developed into a classic Clare Valley ripening pattern with warm dry days and cool nights prevailing over this time. The elevated, naturally retained acidities, tremendous balance and vibrant fruit flavours a hallmark of the vintage.
