I've searched high and low for a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that I thought was worthy of my Professor label and here it is. We've got so many high quality Marlborough Savvy's that trying to find the one that stood out from the rest became a difficult task but one that I was determined to succeed in. This Professor Sauvignon Blanc is simply superb and showcases all things good about Marlborough as a region for this grape variety.

It is a beautiful light straw colour in the glass, immediately it looks subtle and calm. The nose is straight away inviting and full of excitement. That classic aroma of passionfruit and then some subtle herbaceous characters intertwine and fill the air. But the palate is where this really comes to life. It is captivating and very vibrant, ultimately capturing you in a moment with the wine. There's lots of passionfruit with subtle capsicum a touch of spice mixed with those slightly herbal flavours lingering for a moment or two before being cleansed again by the refreshing full fruit flavour of the wine.

This will inevitably become a staple in the home of all of our Marlborough SB lovers but there is limited quantities so please make sure you don't miss out on this marvellous first release for the Professor label.
