The Stump Jump Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and aromatic, just crying out for a sunny afternoon. The nose is full of flowers, passion-fruit and exotic tropical fruit like guava, mangoes and lychees. The palate is lively with zippy acid giving raciness amongst the citrus and peaches. Finishing crisp, long and lingering. Awards and Accolades
2014 Vintage: James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "A more than useful wine at its price, richness and fatness from the McLaren Vale component, and given citrus/tropical fruit and acidity by the Adelaide Hills. Great as a knockabout wine."
From the Winery
The name ‘Stump Jump’ pays homage to a significant South Australian invention – the Stump Jump plough. As well as clearing the land around McLaren Vale, it was adopted worldwide in the late 19th century because of its ability to ride over stumps and gnarled roots, saving valuable time and energy.
