A collaboration with one of Coonawarra's oldest adn most respected producers, this 2010 Cabernet is elegant, lean and great bang for your buck! Opaque black crimson red in colour with a dark ox-blood hue. There are distinct aromas of blackcurrant, a touch of typical cool climate mint, cedar and a good dose of spice warmth. Medium weight, the palate presents an elegant flavour profile of dark cherry, mulberry and spearmint with some underlying cedar and a plenty of spice. Fine grained tannins. Dryish finish with aftertaste of dark mulberry, mint and cedar. You don't get much better than good, old fashioned Cab Sauv!
