25 year old Coonawarra vines provide the fruit for this full bodied, complex wine. The sensational and attractive nose offers yummy dark black berry, plum and intense fruit richness alongside white pepper, hints of anise and cinnamon notes.
The mouthfeel is a perfect meld of intensity, simply awash with succulent fruit and depth from 22 months on French oak which has provided complexity and elegance to the palate!
Amazingly all this means it is still a wine with years to develop and the structure which remains tight will see further improvement with cellaring no doubt, but no one will begrudge you opening one or two right away!
