Scarlet Skirts is an exclusive range of limited release, prestige wines from “Party Queen” Denise Hill. It’s a little glass of luxury for those special occasions.
Sparkling Shiraz is a unique Australian specialty, it captures the lively fun of celebration combined with the sophistication of barrel matured, rich spicy Shiraz. The base wine for this Sparkling Shiraz was made in 2005 and aged in oak “hogsheads” for 15 months before secondary bottle fermentation and settling for a further 18 months before disgorging and liqueuring. This traditional method sparkling wine has a fine bead and delicate pink mousse with a lively bouquet and opulent palate.
Like precious jewellery, this gem adds sparkle and glamour to any party occasion. Sparkling red wine is a passion for winemaker Chris Hill dating back to 1983 while working at Seppelts. There he discovered the key techniques of the “tirage” (for secondary fermentation in bottle) and the “dosage” adding the final hint of sweetness after disgorging. The secret is Vintage Port and bottle maturation. This wine has had 18 months on lees and an additional 3 years in cellar. Enjoy at any time.
