A true classic dry white, complemented beautifully with hints of stone fruits and citrus flavours. This wine is to be enjoyed all year round, with cheeses, pork, poultry or by itself!
From The Winery
The Wine Pale straw in colour with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and subtle oak; flavours of nectarine and white peach are complimented with light toasted oak. Balanced, long and soft.
The Grapes Chardonnay is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. A versatile variety that can produce a broad range of styles from light and lean to full and rich. The style is shaped by ripeness of fruit at harvest and the winemaking techniques used.
The Winemaking Once harvested, the fruit was crushed and pressed, the juice was cold settled and racked to ferment. The ferment was carried out with selected yeast with a portion fermented in 500L French oak puncheons. After some ageing the wine was blended, stabilised, clarified and bottled.
With Food Enjoy with soft cheeses, pork and poultry dishes.
