Rich and dark in colour and flavour. Bursting with juicy berries and plums, perfectly balanced with hints of French Oak. Perfect with red meats, game meats and tomato based pastas.
From The Winery
Harvested at full ripeness the grapes were crushed and fermented on skins for 7 days with regular pump-overs to extract colour and flavour. After pressing the wine was aged with select French oak before blending and bottling.
Deep purple in colour with aromas of blackcurrant and licorice. Flavours of sweet dark berries and plums are persistent and balanced with subtle savoury French oak character. Full, rich and soft. A great match with red meats and full flavoured tomato based pasta dishes.
Reviews
"Each bottle sold results in a donation to the Murray Darling Environmental Foundation, $50 000 given so far. At the price, it also gives the purchaser a charitable donation, for the clear-cut varietal cabernet fruit would normally be found in a bottle twice the price of this wine. It really is remarkable."
