Another ripper from a Halliday Rated 5 star winery!
A medium bodied colour but with lovely vibrant purple hues. Lifted red berry Cabernet Sauvignon and cedar/tobacco fruit aromas. Background sweet oak adds to the arresting bouquet. The blend then just takes of and includes succulent a Shiraz component which adds body and richness to the palate and pepper/spice flavours. The Merlot is just one big old juicy, mulberry component that fills the mid palate and heightens the overall lush length of this wine wonderfully.
Mainly aged in older oak and the ripe fruit tannins provide length and balance. A drink now style that will further soften with medium term bottle maturation. Excellent fruit flavours and balance being the features that will be maintained under the screw cap packaging.
BBQ or char grill almost any meat , add friends and simply enjoy to your hearts content.
Winery notes: Vibrant bright purple hues are a feature of this attractive
easy drinking red blend.
A palate of plums and berries combines perfectly with
subtle oak and soft tannins to create a wine that drinks
beautifully now or will gain complexity over the short
term.
