Brilliant flavours of zesty citrus and classic mineral characters, With fresh aromas of lime and honeysuckle. Perfectly matched with seafood, oily dishes and lighter antipasto foods
From the Winery
Pale straw in colour with light green hues, the beautiful, dry 2016 Josef Chromy Riesling exhibits floral aromatics of fresh lime blossom, hints of rose and subtle white fruits.
Juicy lime and fresh lemon curd combine with slaty mineral characteristics on the palate. The crisp citrus notes are balanced by a gentle chalky texture and natural cool-climate acidity. A wine of length and structure.
Great cellaring potential - enjoy now to 2026.
Reviews
"A wine of a poised, balletic twist of residual sugar and acidity. A resinous golden hue edged with amber segues to a fruit bowl of pear, quince and apricot; some as compote, others ginger as marmalade. A whiff of volatility serves the wine well, as does the beam of tangy acidity that whirls and twirls the sweetness, brushing it away like an electric toothbrush to a finale of near-palpable dryness. As light as a feather." 94 Points - The Wine Companion
