If you missed out on the 2000 vintage last week, do NOT miss this!
This is as good. if not better! Even if you did get some of the 2000, you know this is too good to pass up.
Made by Richard Mclntyre of Moorooduc Estate Vineyard, this Pinot is an absolute beauty. Sumptuous ,delicious savoury notes with dark stone-fruit and great length with just the most sensational degree of acidity which combines all the parts perfectly. Simply smashing at this time of year, with something as simple as slow cooked quality lamb schanks, or as exotic as a chilli roasted quail on cous cous. If you want to watch the footy, relax with the family around the BBQ or simply de-stress and enjoy stunning Pinot Noir I feel priveledged to offer you this vintage.
"Light to medium red-purple, a light savoury/earthy bouquet with strawberry and plum fruit then a palate which picks up the pace, with moderately intense flavour and length." James Halliday 2004 edition Wine Companion. Rating 87
