| The mild, long ripening period ahead of the March/April harvest from our 25-40 years old Riesling vines in the Barossa and Eden Valleys produced fruit of exceptional quality, clearly demonstrated in this fine wine. The colour is a vibrant, pale gold with some green tinges, whilst the aroma is filled with Riesling varietal; citrus and tropical fruit characters which carry on to the full flavoured palate. The finish is rich and lingering with a crisp acid/fruit balance. It may be enjoyed with most foods or just as a refreshing drink and it is especially good with oysters natural, prawns and those delicious South Australian Blue Swimmer crabs. |

These guys make some seriously good Rieslings and Halliday has rated their vintages with a very tidy 91,92 94 out of /100 which certainly gives them some sense of being on the mark when it comes right down to tin tacks! Bright green yellow in colour, this Riesling is crisp with plenty of tangy citrus and passionfruit`with a hint of firm spice to boot! Now it has some age, this little cracker has a long full mouth feel, generous aged charcters starting to develop with honey and some brioche toastiness as well.

| A great varietal example. Tangy, zesty citrus fruits are apparent with a dry-as-a-bone finish. Fry up some flathead tails tonight and watch a bottle disappear with ease! *****Halliday rated 92/100*****
The vines for this wine were first planted in 1976, with the first vintage in 1979. The wine naturally exhibits lovely lemon/lime flavours which seem to linger on the palate.
The high acidity gives the wine a fresh appealing quality, and also contributes to its longevity. With age, the wines take on a butter toast additional flavour, which gives the wine its complexity at five years plus. Although it can be consumed at 18 months as either an aperitif or with seafood, especially shell fish, cellaring for up to five years will repay your patience more than four fold.
The winner of many awards, including trophies, gold medals and best white wine of the show, the Chatsfield Riesling is worthy of not only your interest but a place in your cellar. |

This wine is just brilliant in the glass. It shows a pretty orange blossom and spice fragrance. On the palate the wine is crisp and clean—indicative of the high altitude vineyard; and there is a complex and fascinating minerality, perhaps derived from the lean granitic Strathbogie soil? |

| Pale straw with lime reflections. The wine is elegant with intense floral notes of lime and orange blossom. The aromatics then develop into pears, grapefruit and candied orange. The palate is textural, round and crisp with fresh lovely soft acid which gives the wine approachability and nice length. |

BLUE-GOLD - Sydney International Wine Show, 2007 SILVER - Air New Zealand Wine Awards, 2006 SILVER - Royal Easter Show Wine Awards, 2007 A gentle and light bodied wine with ripe, sweet flavours of lime, grapefruit and honeysuckle and a distinctive underlying mineral character. Pale gold with aromas of lime, grapefruit and honeysuckle Ideal as an aperitif or with Asian-inspired dishes.
The wines were blended shortly after the completion of fermentation and then carefully balanced and prepared for bottling. The fruit for this wine was selected from two of our own vineyards within the Waipara Valley; The Mound & Glasnevin vineyard. Considered as one of the earliest and best vintages ever, the 2006 vintage was extremely warm. The dry summer saw fruit ripen much earlier than even the experts had predicted. The fruit was able to ripen at its leisure, without any fear of disease.
To enjoy the unique fresh characteristics of Waipara Riesling drink, this wine now. This wine will also continue to develop and delight over the next 2 to 3 years. Each fruit parcel was carefully monitored during ripening so it could be harvested as optimum maturity. The fruit parcels were then transported with haste for immediate pressing with minimal skin contact to avoid juice deterioration. After settling, each batch was cool fermented in stainless steel using a variety of aromatic yeasts to add complexity to the blend and to retain the fresh fruit characteristics from each of the vineyards. |

The lovely clean aromas of lemon and lime dominate the nose with a background of stonefruit and
honeysuckle. The concentrated lemon/lime theme continues on the palate and combines with the crisp
acidity to produce a vibrant racy finish. Nectatine and peach flavours add to the wines complexity. This wine has excellent concentration and intriguing mineral textures on the finish. |

| Just released and riding on ver strogly from the exacting vintage of 2006 there are no surprises here with quality and varietal strength. Shows pure Riesling characters of lime, mandarin and orange blossom with gentle spice, rich in Ironstone the soil produces a flinty mineral character, superior structure, grapefruit citrus flavour with a long dry finish. I would recomend this as a pretty fair indication that Riesling from this region actually increases some very enjoyable characterisitics and is a steal any day of the week at this price. Enjoy! |

The 2006 Hand Picked Riesling reflects the perfect ripening conditions
of February. The wine is a wonderful example of Clare Valley Riesling,
showing lifted citrus fruit and distinct Watervale floral and perfume.
On the palate it displays intense lemons and limes, and the persistent
fruit flavour is balanced by a refreshing mineral acidity. This wine can be enjoyed in its youth for
its wonderful purity and intensity of flavours. In addition it will also reward the patient developing complex honey and toasty characters over the next decade.

The palate is rich with citrus, mandarin and honeysuckle. It has a silky texture and a long vibrant mineral persistency 2004 was a wonderful year for Riesling. The very long cool and sunny growing season gave us grapes close to perfection. They were sourced from two different vineyards: the Two Ponds vineyard in the Wairau Valley, that grows on a deep silt loam soil which brings balance and finesse to the wine, and the Rapaura Fairhall Vineyards from 24 year-old Riesling vines, that brings depth and length. |

Pale yellow with light hints of green. Brilliant and clear, The nose is very fresh and develops mineral aromas. A
few aromas of citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit) complete his aromatic expression. It is a sharp and thirst-quenching wine, very representative of his grape variety.
The entry is clean and racy. The palate is marked by a nice range of aromas (white flowers) and is also wellstructured.
This Riesling is perfectly balanced and
ends with a lingering finish of white flower flavours. The finish has a pleasant freshness and a great volume on the palate.

This is a very impressive riesling that typifies the best qualities of Clare yet is superbly restrained. The nose suggests limes and apricot with a hint of minerality, and the palate is very long and steely, begging for a few years in the cellar. It is certainly one of the finest Petaluma rieslings of all, and could turn out to be the best ever! Rate 93/100 |
